• culture (n.)  /ˈkʌltʃər/

E.g. Cooking is a hugely important part of French culture.

• cultural (adj.) /ˈkʌltʃərəl/

E.g. Teachers need to be aware of cultural differences.

• cultured (adj.) /ˈkʌltʃərd/ – well-educated, well-read, intelligent, polite

E.g. He spoke with a cultured accent.

• culturally (adv.)  /ˈkʌltʃərəli/

E.g. Touching a child’s head is culturally unacceptable 

Phân biệt "Culture" đếm được và không đếm được

1. Culture (đếm được): các nền văn hóa

Khi “culture” đếm được, người ta đang nói về bản thân một nhóm người. Vì vậy, “a culture” có thể đồng nghĩa với “a society” hoặc “a community”.

Ví dụ:

• Children are taught to respect different cultures. (các nhóm người khác nhau)
• Traditional cultures are disappearing. (xã hội hoặc cộng đồng truyền thống)

2. Culture (không đếm được): phong tục, tín ngưỡng, lối sống, nghệ thuật, âm nhạc, văn học hoặc tổ chức xã hội của một nhóm người

Lưu ý: Đừng sử dụng với mạo từ “a” hay biến "culture" trong trường hợp này thành danh từ đếm được

Ví dụ:
- I'm studying European culture. (mọi thứ từ tín ngưỡng đến nghệ thuật)
- This city is full of culture and history. (nghệ thuật, các tòa nhà cổ, món ăn truyền thống, v.v.)
